STILL NOT SURE?

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the Battle Ready Body?

The Battle Ready Body is a biblical spiritual warfare training platform designed to equip followers of Jesus with the knowledge, language, and practical tools to understand the battle, walk in authority, and lead others into freedom. This isn't a ministry of hype or fear – it's grounded training for everyday believers.

2. Who is this for?

This is for any believer who senses there's more to the Christian life than they've been taught – whether you're brand new to spiritual warfare or have been fighting blind for years. You don't need a title, a platform, or a theological degree. You just need to be willing to be trained.

3. Do I need any prior knowledge or experience?

None at all. We start with foundations and build from there. Whether you've never heard the word "deliverance" or you've been trying to figure it out on your own for years, there's a place for you here.

4. Is this only for pastors, leaders, or ministers?

No. Jesus gave authority to every believer – not just the ordained. The Battle Ready Body exists because the church needs trained warriors in every home, workplace, and community, not just behind a pulpit. If you follow Jesus, this training is for you.

5. Is this biblically sound?

Yes – and that's non-negotiable for us. Every teaching on The Battle Ready Body is anchored in Scripture. We don't build doctrine around experience; we test experience against the Word. Our goal isn't to sensationalize spiritual warfare – it's to teach what the Bible actually says about it and help you apply it faithfully.

6. What theological framework does The Battle Ready Body use?

We teach from a broadly evangelical, Spirit-filled perspective that takes both the authority of Scripture and the present-day activity of the Holy Spirit seriously. We believe in the finished work of the cross, the resurrection power of Jesus, and the believer's delegated authority over the works of darkness.

7. Why isn't this taught more in the church?

That's one of the questions that drives everything we do. Much of the Western church has either overcorrected away from spiritual warfare to avoid excess, or simply hasn't been trained in it themselves. The result is a generation of believers who are spiritually aware but practically untrained. We're here to help close that gap.

8. Does The Battle Ready Body align with a specific denomination?

We are non-denominational and work with believers across a wide range of church backgrounds. While theological convictions vary across traditions, we believe the core of spiritual warfare – the authority of Jesus, the reality of the enemy, and the freedom available to every believer – is common ground for the whole body of Christ.

9. Can a Christian be demonized?

This is one of the most debated questions in the church – and one we take seriously. We believe the biblical and experiential evidence strongly supports the position that a Christian can experience demonic oppression and in some cases deeper influence in areas where ground has been given. A demon cannot possess a believer's spirit, which is sealed by the Holy Spirit. But that doesn't mean a believer is automatically free from all demonic influence in their soul or body.

10. Isn't this settled - Christians are free because of the cross?

The cross secured every provision for our freedom. But Scripture also makes clear that freedom is something we walk out, not just a status we automatically inhabit. Paul tells believers to "put on the full armour of God" and to "take every thought captive" – these are active commands, not passive realities. Positional truth and experiential freedom aren't always the same thing, and The Battle Ready Body helps believers close that gap.

11. What if I've been taught that Christians can't have demons?

You're not alone – this is one of the most common barriers we hear. We don't ask you to throw out your theology. We ask you to bring it to Scripture with an open hand. Many believers have held this position until they encountered someone – or found themselves – in a situation that didn't fit the neat answer they'd been given. We walk through this question carefully, biblically, and without pressure.

12. My church doesn't teach spiritual warfare. Can I still benefit from this?

Absolutely. Many of the believers who come to Battle Ready Body are part of churches that rarely — if ever — address spiritual warfare or deliverance. You don't need your church's permission to be equipped.

That said, we always encourage you to stay planted and bring what you're learning back into your community with wisdom and humility. What God does in you is often meant to flow through you to the people around you.

If you're in an environment that feels spiritually dry or unhealthy, we'd encourage you to bring that before the Holy Spirit rather than making a quick decision. Let Him lead you — not frustration, not offense, and not a single teaching you didn't agree with.

13. Will this put me at odds with my church or pastor?

It doesn't have to — and it shouldn't. Battle Ready Body isn't about creating division or pulling people away from their communities. We teach believers to move in wisdom, not just authority — and wisdom means honouring the people and places God has put you in.

Our prayer is that what you learn here makes you a stronger, more grounded member of your church — not a critic of it. If tension does arise, bring it to the Lord before and follow His leading.

14. What if I feel isolated because no one around me believes this?

This is one of the most common and painful parts of this journey – feeling like you're the only one who sees what's happening. The Battle Ready Body is built to be a community as much as a curriculum. You'll find others here who understand the battle and won't make you feel extreme for taking it seriously.

15. Is spiritual warfare dangerous? Could I get hurt?

Operating outside of biblical boundaries, without proper training or covering, carries real risk – which is exactly why training matters. The Battle Ready Body doesn't throw you into deep water unprepared. We build foundations first, we teach you how to stand before we teach you how to advance, and we emphasize the importance of covering, accountability, and operating as part of a body – not as a lone ranger.

16. How is this different from other spiritual warfare or deliverance ministries?

A few things set us apart. We emphasize training over performance – we want to build people who understand the principles, not just follow a script. We're practical without being careless, bold without being reckless, and biblically grounded without being dry or academic. We also believe freedom should be normal in the church – not a specialty service offered somewhere else.

17. Will I be taught to cast out demons?

You'll be taught how to minister deliverance wisely, carefully, and in the right context. That includes understanding authority, discernment, identifying open doors, and caring for the person in front of you. Our goal isn't to produce people who go looking for a fight – it's to produce people who are ready when the moment calls for it, and who carry others into freedom with confidence and compassion.
