Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to mind anyone you may have unhealthy ties with: romantic, fantasy, emotional, abusive, spiritual, or otherwise. Take a note of those that come to mind. After a few minutes, say this prayer out loud.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come before You in humility and repentance.

I thank You that You alone are the One who binds hearts together in righteousness. I acknowledge that I have allowed connections in my life that were not from You.

I confess and repent for every soul tie formed outside of Your will. Whether through sexual sin, emotional entanglement, manipulation, spiritual control, trauma, or dependency.

Right now, I break every ungodly soul tie between me and: (Speak each name or relationship out loud that you wrote in your notes and as the Holy Spirit leads)

I renounce the spiritual, emotional, mental, sexual and physical bonds I formed with them knowingly or unknowingly.

By the blood of Jesus, I cancel every legal right the enemy gained through these connections. I break every vow, covenant, attachment, and word that bound me to them.

I call back every part of my soul that was given away, and I send back every part of them that I have held on to. I release them, and I reclaim myself, fully cleansed and whole.

I declare: I am not emotionally tied to them. I am not spiritually yoked to them. I am not mentally, physically, or sexually bound to them. I am free by the power and authority of Jesus Christ.

I sever every soul tie now, in Jesus’ name. I bring the Lord’s judgment on every unclean spirit connected to those ties; you have no more legal right.

Holy Spirit, I ask You to fill every part of me that was once tied up. Restore my soul. Heal my emotions. Renew my mind. Make me whole and aligned with Your truth.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I am free. Amen.
